Microchanneling is another form of skin needling that is similar to micro needling and can help achieve similar results. The procedure uses very thin needles typically no thicker than a strand of hair. The device is used to puncture the epidermis of the skin with the fine needles, creating tiny micro injuries. Each micro injury creates a channel that triggers the body to heal these microscopic wounds, producing new collagen and elastin.
